Enterprise Database
The Quartz PCI Enterprise Database forms the foundation of our enterprise-level data collection, laboratory workflow and collaboration systems.
Based on your choice of either the Oracle® or Microsoft® SQL Server relational database management systems, the Quartz PCI Enterprise Database offers secure, robust enterprise-wide access to your critical data.
Data is entered into the system through our Quartz PCI Acquisition software which runs at each laboratory instrument and can be retrieved at office workstations via our Windows®-based client software, through our web-based Quartz PCI Enterprise Intranet Image Server or through ODBC compliant, third-party software.
The Enterprise Database doesn't just store images. It tracks job, session and sample information and allows you to store any kind of document including, for example, images, spectra, reports and spreadsheets. Because the Enterprise Database incorporates powerful, record-level security features, users see only the data they are entitled to see.
Case Study
On behalf of Hitachi High-Technologies Corporation, Quartz Imaging used our Enterprise Database products to implement Hitachi's Global-I network. Global-I uses multiple Quartz PCI Intranet Image Servers to link together Hitachi's electron microscope demonstration facilities around the world.
